What was special about Abraham? He was the first Jew to be chosen.

Already in these verses we see why Abraham was chosen. Abraham was originally named Abram. This name meant father of a strong people . When the treaty was concluded with Abram, his name was changed to Abraham - father of a great people.

Abraham had no children. His new name reminded him of his oath to God. After going through great trials, Abraham gave birth to Isaac.

Why does the Tanakh tell such a long genealogy? This genealogy from Abraham pointed to his promised son, the Messiah. It is through him that the main promise will happen - and all the families of the earth will be blessed by you .

The chosenness of Abraham, and through him and his descendants, is a blessing for all the nations of the world. But, as mentioned above, this chosenness was misunderstood by other religions, which subsequently led to the Holocaust.

Why God chose the Jews to be His people

Why God chose Abraham was because he was qualified for the task. However, at that time, there were already large and small kingdoms, and Abraham was a simple shepherd. He did not have his own kingdom, and he was not a king. His offspring were the fewest and most defenseless.

Protecting His people, the Almighty through him preserved for all mankind the blessing of Abraham, which, through the Messiah Yeshua, brought the once lost immortality.

Having chosen an insignificant race, the Almighty formed from it a great nation, which was to proclaim the glory of Jehovah. All the evil that exists in the world is carried on the shoulders of the chosen Jewish people. Even when the Messiah came, the Almighty sacrificed His people to save the pagans, who, unfortunately, did not appreciate this.

No other people could have endured as much bullying and persecution as the Jewish people endured.

Everything that is stated in the Bible is not empty words, half-witted preachers. This is an algorithm of actions in strict accordance with which the Jewish people have existed for thousands of years. It is necessary to firmly understand that Jews cannot live otherwise, do not know how, do not want, and will never want to.

According to the Old Testament, the sacred scripture of the Jews, Jews are God's chosen people, "the people of lords." The 19th chapter of the 2nd book of Moses (verses 3-6) says: “Moses went up to God, and the Lord called to him from the mountain, saying: Thus shall you speak to the house of Jacob and tell the children of Israel: You have seen what I did to the Egyptians , and how I bore you on eagles' wings and brought you to Me. God thus made an alliance with the children of Israel and chose this people from all other nations. This is emphasized in the 5th chapter of the 5th book of Moses (verses 1-3): “And Moses called all Israel and said to them: Hear, O Israel, the statutes and laws that I will pronounce in your ears today, and learn them and try to fulfill them. The Lord our God made a covenant with us at Horeb. The Lord did not make this covenant with our fathers, but with us, who are all alive here today."

That from this chosenness, from this conviction that the Jews are God's own people, their dominant position among other nations follows, is clear, in particular, from the 26th chapter of the 5th book of Moses (verses 18-19): " And the Lord has promised you this day that you will be His own people, as He told you, if you will keep all His commandments, and that He will set you above all the nations that He has made, in honor, glory and splendor, and that you will a holy people to the Lord your God, as He has spoken."

This is the dominion of the chosen people over other nations - the refrain of the 5th book of Moses. Verse 13 of chapter 28 reads, “The Lord will make you the head and not the tail, and you will only be on high and not below, if you obey the commandments of the Lord your God, which I command you today to keep and do...”

For any believer who considers all people to be God's creatures, the idea that God has chosen one particular people and entered into a special alliance with them is simply obscene. But this is stated absolutely unambiguously in the Hebrew Bible, in the Jewish laws, in the books of Moses. It is also written in them that God allows his chosen people to plunder the lands of other peoples and even exterminate them from the roots, that is, to carry out the Holocaust in the most authentic sense of the word!

In the 5th book of Moses, chapter 6, verses 10, 12 and 13 it says: “When the Lord your God brings you into the land which he swore to your fathers, Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, to give you with great and good cities, which you did not build, and with houses filled with all good things, which you did not fill, and with wells hewn from stone, which you did not hew, with vineyards and olive trees, which you did not plant, and you will eat and be satisfied. "Then take heed lest you forget the Lord, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of slavery. Fear the Lord your God, and serve Him, and swear by His name."

Elsewhere (5th book of Moses, chapter 7, verses 16-24) Yahweh expresses himself in even clearer language: “And thou shalt destroy all the nations which the LORD thy God giveth thee; let not thine eye spare them; and thou shalt not serve to their gods, for this is a snare for you.

If you say in your heart: “These nations are more numerous than I; how can I drive them out?” Do not be afraid of them, remember what the Lord your God did to Pharaoh and all Egypt, those great trials that your eyes saw, the signs, the wonders and the strong hand and the high arm with which the Lord your God brought you out! The Lord your God will do the same to all the nations you fear. And the Lord your God will send hornets among them until those who remain and those who are hidden from your presence perish. Do not be afraid of them, for the Lord your God is among you, a great and awesome God. And the Lord your God will drive out these nations before you little by little; You cannot destroy them quickly, lest the beasts of the field multiply against you. But the Lord your God will deliver them to you and throw them into great confusion, so that they will perish. And he will deliver their kings into your hand, and you will destroy their name from under heaven. No one can stand against you until you root them out."

God's promises to destroy all nations that stand in the way of his chosen people are the leitmotif of the Torah. In the 5th book of Moses, chapter 11, verses 22-25, it says: “For if you keep all these commandments that I command you to do, and love the Lord your God, and walk in all his ways and cleave to him, then The Lord will drive out all these nations from before you, and you will take possession of nations that are greater and stronger than you. Every place that you set foot on will be yours; from the desert and Lebanon, from the Euphrates River even to the western sea, your borders will be. No one will stand before you: the Lord your God will bring fear and trembling before you into all the land where you go, as He has spoken to you.”

All in the same 5th book of Moses (chapter 20, verses 10-17), God tells his chosen people to enslave those nations who ask for peace, and to kill everyone who resists: “When you approach a city to conquer it, offer peace to him. If he agrees to peace with you and opens the gates for you, then all the people who are found in him will pay you tribute and serve you. If he does not agree to peace with you and wages war with you, then besiege him. And when the Lord your God delivers him into your hand, kill all the males in him with the edge of the sword. Only the women and children and livestock and everything that is in the city, take all his spoils for yourself and enjoy the spoils of your enemies whom you betrayed. the Lord your God. Do this to all the cities that are very far from you, which are not among the cities of these nations. But in the cities of these nations, which the Lord your God is giving you to possess, you shall not leave a single soul alive. When modern Israel calls itself a “Jewish state,” clings in its religious principles to the god of the Torah and considers itself God’s chosen people with a divinely sanctioned right to absolute power, the “promised land,” the Israelis and Zionists take on a grave responsibility, since this Old Testament faith is incompatible with higher religions such as Christianity and Islam, as well as with democracy and respect for human rights.

Highly revered in the West, Golda Meir, the prime minister of the 70s, David Ben-Gurion and Menachim Begin openly stated that Zionism and the emergence of the state of Israel go back to the promises that God made to his chosen people in biblical times.

In these circumstances, it is to be welcomed that sober and critical voices are being heard in Israel. Myron Benvenisti, the former mayor of Jerusalem, believed: “Either we will remain a Jewish state, which will be less and less democratic, or we will remain a democratic state, which will be less and less Jewish... Democracy can only be preserved if we give the Israeli Arabs everything civil rights" (Newsweek, April 20, 1970).

Since then, Israel has become even more Jewish and even less democratic towards the Palestinians, especially in the occupied West Bank and the Gaza Strip, where more and more new Jewish settlements are being created at the expense of the Palestinian population, Jews are infiltrating government circles in various countries, and are trying to dictate other peoples their will.

Israel Shahak, the founder of the Israeli civil rights movement, has repeatedly branded Israel a “racist state” that has “returned to outdated religious principles, such as the idea that Jews are the elite of humanity and have the right to treat other peoples as slaves” ( quoted from the Israeli newspaper Haaretz, November 27, 1971).

In principle, the idea of ​​ourselves as God’s chosen people is a godless exaltation of one’s own people at the expense of other peoples. Exactly the same way of thinking was characteristic of “German Christians” during the Third Reich, about which the Swedish bishop and famous historian of religion Anders Nygren wrote: “God was created in the image and likeness of the German... The God to whom they actually prayed was a reflection own people." The same can be said about biblical Jewry.
Everyone knows what happened to the soldiers of the 3rd Reich.

And so, at the decisive moment of the coming of the Son of God, the devil was allowed to achieve enormous success, which introduced a special tension into the course of history: he seduces into the greatest possible crime - deicide! – the leaders of God’s chosen people, playing on their materialism and national pride. Under the influence of the devil, they lost faith in the immortality of the human soul and therefore rejected the Messiah, since He brought His promises of the Kingdom of God not on earth, but in Heaven, and not only to Jews, but to all people ready to follow God's Law.

The Jews themselves recognize this in their own way: “This is a general and characteristic feature of the worldview of Judaism, for which true spirituality always realizes itself in material", Christ transferred salvation "to mystical areas inaccessible to the perception of the ordinary person,” explains the International Jewish Newspaper in the article “Why Jews do not recognize Jesus as the Messiah.” Even the obvious miracles of Christ and His miraculous resurrection were not accepted by materialist Jews.

Only a small part of Jewry, faithful to the law and the prophets, understood the true meaning of their chosenness by God and, becoming the first Christians, conveyed this chosenness to all Christian humanity. These Jewish Christians also became the first martyrs to fall at the hands of the Jews. The majority of Jews, not accepting Christ, continue to wait for the “other”, the earthly “Messiah”, who will lead to earthly dominion, chosen precisely for this purpose, in their opinion, by the Jewish people. As Christ said about this: “I came in the name of My Father, and you do not receive Me; and if another will come in his name, you will receive him"(John 5:43; emphasis added). The Church calls him the Antichrist.

Thus, the devil stole from God His chosen people and made from them in humanity his own people and his own materialistic religion, which became the basis for the development of the “mystery of lawlessness” (2 Thess. 2:7), that is, for the establishment of satanic domination on earth. “You know neither Me nor My Father... Your father is the devil and you want to do the lusts of your father; he was a murderer from the beginning” (John 8:19,44; emphasis added) - such is Christ’s sentence to the Judaizers who rejected Him. (It should be noted that the very word “Israel” in Hebrew means “fighter of God,” which providentially indicates the proud obstinacy of the chosen people in their relationship with God.)

That is why, under the influence of envy and pride, the Jewish high priests, scholars and elders condemned Christ in violation of their own legal process. The accused was not given a defense lawyer, he was convicted without testimony based on a false interpretation of the words of the Accused Himself, the accusers themselves were the judges, and they held the trial at a prohibited time on the eve of Saturday, they beat the Accused, they did not wait the required day for reflection between the interrogation and the verdict, were not given the opportunity to appeal their decision.

They condemned Christ to crucifixion on a trumped-up charge, the falsity of which they themselves recognized(we will give below quotes from Matthew 25–27; Mark 12–15; Luke 20–23, highlighting confirmation of this in italics). Anticipating their murder plot, Christ told them a parable about the evil vinedressers who killed the Son of the Owner of the vineyard, after which the high priests wanted to kill Him even more, “for understood that He spoke this parable about them. And watching Him, they sent wicked people who, pretending pious, would have caught Him in some word in order to betray Him to the authorities and the power of the ruler,” but they did not succeed. Then " Satan entered into Judas" and through him taught the Jewish leaders "to take Jesus cunning and kill", "many bore false witness on him". They could have arrested Christ during the day, because He openly taught the people, but they preferred to arrest Him at night, because they were afraid of the people. They handed him over to Pilate with the false accusation that Christ “corrupts our people and forbids giving tribute to Caesar, calling Himself Christ the King.”

The high priests knew perfectly well the Old Testament and God's prediction that the Messiah would be betrayed for thirty pieces of silver that would go to the potter (Zech. 11:12–13), and they paid exactly that amount to Judas for his betrayal. They were not stopped even by the repentance of Judas, who returned the money to them with the words : « I sinned by betraying innocent blood. They told him: what do we care??; but, realizing the sinfulness of their act, the pieces of silver did not dare to “put them in the church treasury, because that's the price of blood", and bought land with them potter.

Neither Pilate nor even Herod found “This man guilty of anything of which you accuse Him.” Pilate "knew that the chief priests had betrayed Him" out of envy”, and three times invited the assembled people to release Christ, “This Righteous One.” But three times the people, prompted by the high priests, shouted: “Crucify, crucify Him!”; “Let him be crucified!.. His blood be on us and on our children»!..

As can be seen from the description of the execution, the words of Christ: “Father! let them go, they don’t know what they’re doing!” (Luke 23:34) - referred more likely to the Roman executor soldiers who nailed Him to the cross than to those Jews who, by deliberate lies, achieved His crucifixion. Christ said about them: “If I had not come and spoken to them, they would not have had sin; but now they have no excuse for their sin... If I had not done among them deeds that no one else had done, they would not have had sin; but now they have seen and hated both Me and My Father” (John 15:22-24).

“How will you escape from condemnation to Gehenna?.. I am sending you prophets, and wise men, and scribes; and some you will kill and crucify, and others you will beat in your synagogues and drive from city to city; May all the righteous blood shed on earth come upon you, from the blood of righteous Abel to the blood of Zechariah, ... whom you killed between the temple and the altar. Truly I say to you, all these things will come upon this generation. Jerusalem, Jerusalem, who kills the prophets and stones those who are sent to you! how many times have I wanted to gather your children together, as a bird gathers its chicks under its wings, and you did not want to! Behold, your house is left to you empty” (Matthew 23:33–38).

An empty house is the deprivation of the Jews' chosenness, which, according to the Apostle Paul, passes to Christians: “If you are Christ's, then you are Abraham's seed and heirs according to the promise” (Gal. 3:29). This meaning of the transition of chosenness to other peoples who have adopted Christianity is expressed in many parables of the Gospel: about the transfer of the vineyard to other winegrowers - “the Kingdom of God will be taken away from you and will be given to a people who bear its fruits” (Matthew 21:41-43); about the Master of the house, closing the gates for those in whose streets He taught, but dissolving the gates for those who “will come from the east and the west, and the north and the south, and will sit down in the kingdom of God” (Luke 13:29); about the Kingdom of Heaven, which is like a wedding feast: “those who were called were not worthy,” which is why it was commanded to invite “everyone you find” (Matthew 22:2–14); the same meaning of the parable of those invited to supper (Luke 14:16–24).

This is what the rational logic of the Jewish high priest Caiaphas, who falsely condemned Christ to death, turned out to be: “It is better for us that one man should die for the people, than that the whole people should perish” (John 11:50). The Son of God died for people and rose again, defeating death, and the people who doomed Him to death perished spiritually.

From this amazing tenacity with which the Jewish leaders insisted on the crucifixion of the Son of God, who performed miracles obvious to everyone, preached love between people and attracted many people (this is the reason for the envy of the leaders!) by preaching salvation in the Kingdom of Heaven - it becomes clear that even then The devil managed to raise conscious liars in the chosen people, who, because of their pride, were ready to serve evil and make lies their weapon in the struggle against God Himself for earthly power.

After the resurrection of Christ, they tried to silence this miracle with lies and bribery, slandered Him and made Him their main enemy. They erased from the Old Testament all the fulfilled prophecies about the coming of Christ and reinterpreted these texts into their main source of “law”, which stands above the Bible - the racist Talmud. He claims that God's promises apply only to the Jews, who are promised dominion over all other nations of the world, and they must serve the Jews like cattle.

And especially Talmudic Judaism is directed against Christianity. A well-known Jewish historian admits that the Jews “ranked Christians much lower... the pagans... A curse was pronounced over the Christian scriptures... The formula of a curse over the Menaians (Jews who converted to Christianity) was introduced into daily prayer. The reason for this: Christianity teaches that the promises of God are intended for all people, regardless of nationality - Thus, Christianity was perceived by the Jews as an existential enemy, abolishing the Jewish national chosenness of God with all its desired privileges of earthly domination.

Thus, hatred of Christ became an integral part of Judaism, which continues to this day. Christians are prescribed to be treated worse than cattle. This hatred permeates the entire Jewish code of conduct, compiled in the 16th century on the basis of the Talmud - “Shulchan Aruch” (translated as “The set table” with the “selected dishes” of Judaism). In this code, Christians are equated with “idolaters” (Akum) and, upon seeing their temple, Jews are ordered to pray to “God” for the destruction of this “place of idolatry,” as well as to destroy objects of “idolatry” and “call them shameful names.” “Whoever sees the houses of Akums is obliged to say, when they are still living in them: “The Lord will destroy the houses of the arrogant” ...” And if these dwellings have already been destroyed, one should praise the Jewish “god.”

Gentiles are compared to feces; “it is forbidden to save them when they are close to death... they cannot be treated, even for money, except in cases where hostility can be feared... it is permissible to test medicine on Akuma to see if it is useful.” The marriage of Jews with Akums is not recognized: “this is only fornication”; the seed of a Gentile is “considered as the seed of beasts”; If a non-Jewish servant dies of a Jewish owner, the owner “is not given words of consolation,” but must be told: “May God compensate you for your loss,” in exactly the same way as they say to a man when his ox or donkey dies.” It is forbidden for a Jew and a non-Jew to cook in the same pot, but “it is permissible to add food for dogs in the pot in which they cook for themselves.”

Of course, in achieving his goals, the main methods of the new Jewish “father” are also recommended - lies, slander, provocative methods towards non-Jews to lure them into a trap. But all this must be done secretly, “so as not to desecrate the Name of G‑d.” That is, the Jewish “god,” whose name is forbidden to be written in full, allows and even recommends to his “children” any crimes against non-Jews, as long as this does not become known. To disguise such an attitude in front of non-Jews, hypocrisy is prescribed: outward display of friendly feelings (“on the holiday of Akum, rejoice with them in order to avoid hostility, because this is only a pretence”) and hiding one’s true intentions with distracting maneuvers. In particular, to destroy an unwanted person, “one must look for ways and means to drive him out of the world”, “one must entangle him in every possible way in order to cause his death. For example, when you see that one of them has fallen into a well and there is a ladder in the well, then hurry to pull it out, saying: “Here is my concern - I need to get my son off the roof, and I will now bring it back to you,” etc. P.".

A Jew is allowed to take a false oath to a non-Jewish court - he only “must declare the oath invalid in his heart.” A Jew is forbidden to testify against a Jew in court, and the violator of this prohibition “must be driven from the world... it is a good thing to kill him, and everyone who kills first gains merit”; “all residents of the area are guilty of participating in the expenses made in order to drive the traitor out of the world” - apparently, such mutual responsibility, even in crimes, strengthens Jewish solidarity in confrontation with the non-Jewish world.

Many authors refer to the so-called “Protocols of the Elders of Zion” - from our point of view, this is not an authentic Jewish document, but an anti-Jewish one, introduced into circulation by fighters against the dominance of Jews to discredit them, but at its core correctly reflecting the morality of the “Shulchan” aruha". “As a reward for such faith, the Messiah will come and pour out his wrath on the Akum.” On the eve of the Jewish Passover, a special prayer is read to the Jewish “god” about the “shedding of wrath” on the non-Jewish peoples: “Pursue them, O Lord, with wrath and destroy them from under heaven”...

Let us emphasize that these are not private statements of individual Jewish “sages” (one can also find more aggressive instructions among them, for example: “kill the best of the goyim”), but officially recognized laws, mandatory for study in Jewish schools and for implementation, which pre-revolutionary “Jewish Encyclopedia" calls "a prescription of the rules of life", it is "an invaluable reference book due to its clarity and accuracy." Kogan writes, addressing his fellow tribesmen, that this is “a textbook of the Jewish civilization of our time... You absolutely need this book. Of course, such a people, who chose the devil as their father and, through their lust for earthly domination, served to build the kingdom of the Antichrist, could no longer be for God an environment suitable for the embodiment of the proper order of earthly life. The transition of chosenness to Christians (Matt. 23:33–38; Gal. 3:28–29) also meant the formation in Christian nations of a special type of statehood serving God’s purposes—this will be discussed in more detail later.

Now let us note that the entire drama of human history develops between these two opposite spiritual poles and ideals of earthly statehood: Orthodox, serving the Law of Christ, and anti-Christian, serving the “mystery of lawlessness” of the Antichrist. Without realizing this, the direction of human development in the last two thousand years is unclear. That is why, and not at all because of so-called anti-Semitism, we, together with other Orthodox authors, are forced in our book for the historiosophical analysis of any era, including ours, to constantly turn to the role of extremely influential anti-Christian Jewry - also for the benefit of the Jews themselves, identifying from among them those capable of realizing the essence of this phenomenon, for their salvation. Its satanic essence was noted even by such intellectual philosophers (not at all “anti-Semites”) as Father Pavel Florensky, Father Sergius Bulgakov, A.F. Losev. The latter, for example, directly stated:

“The historical carrier of the spirit of Satan is Jewry... Jewry with all its dialectical-historical consequences is Satanism, the stronghold of world Satanism... Israel is the principle of falling away from Christianity and the stronghold of all world malice against Christ.” For this “anti-Soviet” work, in 1930 he received 10 years in the camps.

In connection with Christ's words about the "father" of the Jews, it should also be noted that the Talmud was supplemented by the occult teachings of Kabbalah. Any occultism is a connection with demons; in this case, it became a means of contact between the Jewish “wise men” and the new father Satan in order to attract his help in earthly affairs. Ritual human sacrifices are also connected with this (which has been indisputably proven by famous scientists) in order to appease the “father” and bring the Jewish kingdom of the “messiah”-Antichrist closer.

The onset of the “mystery of lawlessness” in the earthly world was facilitated by another important feature of Judaism. Not believing in the immortality of a person’s personal soul, the Jews saw all their values ​​only on earth and, more than other peoples, rushed to possess them and to usury. The consequence was the dominance of Jews in world trade and world finance since pre-Christian times, which is why they settled around the world along trade routes and “lines of monetary power” in greater numbers than they lived in Palestine; The words “Jew” and “usurer” have become synonymous among many peoples. All this is proudly recognized by many Jewish authors, for example, the mondialist ideologist J. Attali. In his new book “Jews, the World and Money” he gives this phenomenon the following explanation (we quote in translation, preserving the features of the original):

“The Jewish people made money a unique and universal instrument of exchange, just as they made their God a unique and universal instrument of superiority... In this cruel world, ruled by force, money gradually turns out to be the highest form of organization of human relations, allowing one to resolve violence in all conflicts, including religious ones. The authors of the Talmud were themselves, for the most part, traders and economic experts...”

“Isaac and Jacob confirm the need to get rich in order to please God... God blesses Isaac's wealth and allows him to buy the birthright from his brother Esau - this is proof that everything has a material price, even in the form of lentil soup... Money - a machine that transforms the sacred into the secular, liberates from coercion, channels violence, organizes solidarity, helps to resist the demands of the Gentiles, is a wonderful means of serving God.”

About usury, Attali cites the teaching of Rabbi Yaakov Tam: “This is an honorable profession, usurers earn money quickly and enough to abandon other professions and devote themselves to religious pursuits.”

For Jews, hired labor is considered reprehensible: “An important point: everyone must at all costs avoid agreeing to forced labor that makes one dependent, since obeying someone is tantamount to returning to Egypt... This prohibition explains why, for centuries, Jews have been the most often refuse to join large organizations and prefer to work for themselves.”

Arise the question: who are the Russians? This question is pivotal and requires a detailed explanation. It is the Russian people who will create Russia, it is they who shape the very body of the Russian State, which has HOLY Rus' as its ideal.

Neither geographical, nor economic, nor racial, nor political, nor any other factor of decisive importance for the creation of the Russian people is significant.

Russians are God's third chosen people. And he owes his very birth to the Wisdom of God, being part of the Divine Plan for managing the world historical ecumene.

God loves the Trinity. This Russian proverb allows us to transfer the trinity of Boa to the universe he created. And in human history, the Lord our God Jesus Christ created His three peoples: Jews, Hellenes (Greeks) and Russians.

Jews were God's chosen people before the birth of Christ. The main goal of the Jews was to prepare for the Birth of the Messiah - Christ. And although the Jews greatly increased the number of Old Testament righteous people, they did not maintain the purity of the Faith and slipped into idolatry. Modern Judaism has little in common with the Old Testament. Although the Jews retained certain positive traits, which is proven by the Apocalypse: at the end of times many Jews will accept Christ.

For the sins of apostasy, the Jews lost their state and were forced to remain in dispersion.

The Greeks became God's second chosen people. It was the Greeks who left logically verified and substantiated canons of the Church of Christ. The Greeks were in the period of formation of Christian statehood itself. However, the Greeks failed to find a complete relationship between spiritual and secular authorities. They developed a formula for a symphony of spiritual and secular power, but failed to fully implement it.

As a result, due to their sins, they were deprived of their earthly fatherland - Byzantium, and for more than 5 centuries they were in Turkish slavery or in dispersion, like the Jews.

The Russian people managed to find the exact formula of the symphony of sovereign and spiritual authorities developed by Byzantium, which they implemented in their monarchical state. The Russian monarchy is different in its content from Roman Catholic papocaesarism and from Lutheran-Anglican-Calvinian Caesaropapism. But Byzantine statehood was also implemented in Russia to the highest degree, for Byzantium did not know a strictly dynastic principle, although it tried to develop it in its own way.

Jewish influence in the world is overgrown with many myths and legends. In this short work we will not cite or theorize them. Let us present several important facts for understanding the history of Russia.

The Bible does not mention minor details because it is not a textbook. Therefore, the Bible does not talk about the Jews who were scattered before the Roman invasion. However, the facts are that Jews settled throughout the world for a very long time.

Jews lived in Asia (some did not leave Egypt, some lived in Arabia, some created their own communities in India and China), Africa (there are also African Jews) and America (after the discovery of America it was soon found out that among the Indian tribes there were buildings resembling synagogues with seven-branched candlesticks and other paraphernalia). In short, the Jewish diaspora has long spread far beyond the borders of Palestine proper.

The New Testament testifies that Jews settled throughout the Roman Empire. It was there that the Apostles Peter and Paul went - to Rome. And it was in Rome, which is noteworthy, that they were received with more interest than in Judea itself.

Let us remember that almost all of the Black Sea coast belonged to the Roman Empire. So, a small Jewish diaspora lived in the future Odessa 100 years before the appearance of the Russian people. And there - to the northern coast of the Black Sea (called Pontus by the Greeks) Andrei the First-Called set his feet.

Here we come to the question of the racial and ethnic mix of the Russian people.

The Russian people, as we have repeatedly said, were created precisely in the Dnieper Epiphany font. Previously, no Russian people existed, although foreigners could call a group of tribes “Russians.” These were the tribes: Drevlyans, Polyans, Chuds, etc. About 15 different tribes.

And these tribes had a different racial element.

The German element was fundamental in the formation of the Russian people themselves. The Rus are a Germanic tribe. The names of princes Askold, Helge (Oleg), Rühring should bring some sense. Moreover, the surname “Baron von Rennenkampf” is still easier to reproduce than “Pan Pshesinsky”. By the way, before the Cyrillic alphabet, runes were written in Rus'.

The second most important for the formation of the Russian people was the Finno-Ugric racial component. For example, fairy-tale characters: Baba Yaga, Father Frost, Snow Maiden. All these are characters from Finnish and Ugric folklore. There is also other evidence that our ancestors understood the Finnish language perfectly.

The Slavic racial type played an important role in the formation of the Russian people. True, there were few Slavs; they were mostly slaves. But it was the Slavic language that became the basis of Russian. Why - a possible answer is below.

The Jewish element also fulfilled its function. Suffice it to say that for two hundred years the future Russian lands were part of the Khazar Khaganate, whose state religion was Judaism. The Kiev prince, for example, was officially called the Great Kogan. And beautiful Jewish women often replenished the harems of these Kohans.

The fourth element that needs to be mentioned was Turkic. These are the Polovtsians, Pechenegs, the Khazyrs themselves and other peoples who were the ethnic (but not spiritual!) parents of the future Russian people.

The Greek influence on the ancestors of the Russian people was not so much racial as spiritual. After all, before the election of the Patriarch, Rus' was a spiritual colony of Byzantium. Therefore, it makes no sense to look for pagan state roots in Rus'. We are a continuation of Byzantium, for Moscow is the Third Rome!

In conclusion, let us ask a few strange questions that do not have exact answers, but are rather thought-provoking.

Why do Russian people speak Slavic?

Our hypothesis is this. In a mixture of different races and peoples, people spoke many languages ​​at the same time. Or at least understood them. And since Saints Cyril and Methodius translated the Holy Scriptures into the Slavic language, then after the Baptism of Rus' the Slavic language became the language of the Bible and simply written. That's why Russian is similar to Slavic.

After all, it was Latin (the language of powerful Rome) that influenced the formation of not only Italian, but also Spanish, Portuguese, French and Romanian.

Why is the word Christ Greek?

Christ is the Messiah. This means that there was no analogue in the Slavic language into which the Holy Scriptures were translated! Even the name of the faith - Orthodoxy - sounds quite Russian. But we couldn’t find an analogue for the word Messiah. Is it so?

Which Izya did Izyaslav praise?

The connection between the ancestors of the Russian people and the Jewish people is clearly expressed in the name of many ancient princes - Izyaslav. Literally praise Izya, perhaps Israel. Considering that the life of the ancestors of the Russian people took place in the Khazar Khaganate, professing Judaism, far-reaching conclusions can be drawn!

Why was the Judaizing heresy only in Rus'?

As is known: the heresy of the Judaizers struck the Russian state body in the 15th century and represented... a proposal by a number of prominent Jews to renounce Orthodoxy and convert to Judaism. The Judaizing sect operated secretly, but the circle of people involved was large. Boyars, clergy.

Isn’t it strange that this heresy attacked Rus'? Why not Germany, for example?

In our opinion, Jews and Greeks are somewhat jealous of the Russian people precisely because of our chosenness by God. The former chosen people of God feel this at the genetic level. And like Esau they are aggressive towards Jacob. But the Jews sold their birthright for lentil stew: they exchanged the Kingdom of Heaven for a fatty piece of their daily bread on earth. When Christians hear the phrase “Jews are God's chosen people,” several questions often arise. What does "chosen" mean? Are Jews more important and significant in God's eyes than others? Do they have special privileges that others don't? Do Jews get a free ticket to heaven because God "chose" them?

To the Western mind, the meaning of the word "chosen" is equivalent to the meaning of the word "preferred". When we go to buy ice cream, we choose exactly the flavor that we like best. When we choose something, it often means that we prefer one thing over another.

However, when God chooses a person or a particular group of people, it is not so much for Himself, but in order to fulfill a much greater task. God has a grand plan: to manifest and demonstrate His character through His chosen vessel, in this case the people of Israel. He chose Israel not because they are better, but because He is faithful and because He loves His creation.

For you are a holy people to the Lord your God: the Lord your God has chosen you to be His own people above all the nations that are on the earth. (Deut.7:6)

It was not because you were more numerous than all the nations that the Lord accepted you and chose you, for you are the fewest in number among all the nations, but because the Lord loves you, and in order to keep the oath which He swore to your fathers... (Deut. 7:7-8).

God chose Israel out of love and declared that He would keep this covenant regardless of their sins. God keeps his promises to these people hundreds and even thousands of years later. Ezekiel prophesied that God would scatter Israel to the four corners of the earth and then bring them back to the same place on earth. But God made it very clear that He would not do this because of their righteousness or for their own sake:

Therefore say to the house of Israel, Thus says the Lord God: I will not do this for you, O house of Israel, but for the sake of my holy name, which you have profaned among the nations where you have come. And I will sanctify My great name, which is dishonored among the nations, among whom you have dishonored it, and the nations will know that I am the Lord, says the Lord God, when I show My holiness to you before their eyes. And I will take you from the nations, and gather you from all countries, and bring you into your own land. … It is not for your sake that I will do this, says the Lord God, let it be known to you. Blush and be ashamed of your ways, O house of Israel. (Ezek.36:22-24, 32)

And although Israel was driven out of the Promised Land, scattered among the nations, and His name dishonored, God is still faithful to Israel. Not because they are special, but because He is special among them. God will prove to all the nations of the earth that He is God. And He chose Israel for this task.

You could even say that God chose the people of Israel because they were an arrogant, stubborn, stiff-necked people who continually turned away from the Lord. How else can we learn about His patience, forgiveness, mercy and long-suffering? However, it is through this family, this people, that the Creator chose to reveal Himself and His Son to the world. If He can reveal His glory and character through such people, then there is hope for our haughty hearts and for our lost world.
