Brief retelling of the story: he is alive and glowing. "It's alive and glowing." What proverbs and aphorisms fit V. Dragunsky’s story “He is alive and glowing”

  • 11.04.2024

One evening I sat in the yard, near the sand, and waited for my mother. She probably stayed late at the institute, or at the store, or maybe stood for a long time at the bus stop. Don't know. Only all the parents in our yard had already arrived, and all the kids went home with them and were probably already drinking tea with bagels and cheese, but my mother was still not there...

And now the lights began to light up in the windows, and the radio began to play music, and dark clouds moved in the sky - they looked like bearded old men...

And I wanted to eat, but my mother was still not there, and I thought that if I knew that my mother was hungry and was waiting for me somewhere at the end of the world, I would immediately run to her, and would not be late and not made her sit on the sand and get bored.

And at that time Mishka entered the yard. He said:

Great!

And I said:

Great!

Mishka sat down with me and took my dump truck in his hands.

Wow! - said Mishka. - Where did you get it? Does he pick up sand himself? A? Not yourself? Does he leave on his own? Yes? What about the pen? What is it for? Can it be rotated? Yes? A? Wow! Will you give it to me at home?

I said:

No, I won't let you go home. Present. Dad gave it to me before he left.

The bear pouted and moved away from me. It became even darker outside.

I looked at the gate so as not to miss when my mother came. But she still didn’t go. Apparently, I met Aunt Rosa, and they stand and talk and don’t even think about me. I lay down on the sand.

Here Mishka says:

Can you give me a dump truck?

I speak:

Get off it, Mishka.

Then Mishka says:

I can give you one Guatemala and two Barbados for it!

I speak:

Compared Barbados to a dump truck.

And Mishka:

Well, do you want me to give you a swimming ring?

I speak:

Yours is broken.

And Mishka:

You'll seal it!

I even got angry:

Where to swim? In the bathroom? On Tuesdays?

And Mishka pouted again. And then he says:

Well, it was not! Know my goodness! On the!

And he handed me a box of matches. I took it in my hands.

“Open it, open it,” said Mishka, “then you will see!”

I opened the box and at first I didn’t see anything, and then I saw a small light green light, as if a tiny star was burning somewhere far from me, and at the same time I was holding it in my hands.

“What is this, Mishka,” I said in a whisper, “what is this?”

“This is a firefly,” said Mishka. - What, good? He's alive, don't think about it.

Bear,” I said, “take my dump truck, would you like it?” Take it forever, forever! Give me this star, I’ll take it home.

And Mishka grabbed my dump truck and ran home. And I stayed with my firefly, looked at it, looked and couldn’t get enough of it: how green it was, as if in a fairy tale, and how close it was, in the palm of my hand, but shining as if from afar... And I couldn’t exactly breathe, and I heard how quickly my heart was beating, and there was a slight tingling in my nose, as if I wanted to cry.

And I sat like that for a long time, a very long time. And there was no one around. And I forgot about everyone in this world.

But then my mother came, and I was very happy, and we went home. And when they started drinking tea with bagels and feta cheese, my mother asked:

Well, how's your dump truck?

And I said:

I, mom, exchanged it.

Mom said:

Interesting! And for what?

I answered:

To the firefly! Here he is, living in a box. Turn out the light!

And mom turned off the light, and the room became dark, and the two of us began to look at the pale green star.

Then mom turned on the light.

Yes, she said, it’s magic! But still, how did you decide to give such a valuable thing as a dump truck for this worm?

“I’ve been waiting for you for so long,” I said, “and I was so bored, but this firefly, it turned out to be better than any dump truck in the world.”

Mom looked at me intently and asked:

But why, why exactly is it better?

I said:

How come you don’t understand?! After all, he is alive! It is alive and glowing!

The writer Dragunsky wrote a series of stories about the adventures of two friends Deniska and Mishka. Therefore, Deniska and Mishka become his main characters in this story.

Deniska is waiting for her mother. He walks in the yard, but his mother still doesn’t come, she’s probably late at work. Deniska is already hungry, evening is coming, everything around him is getting dark. And then his friend Misha Slonov comes to him, who sees Deniska’s toy dump truck.

Mishka really liked the dump truck and offers to swap. He offers Deniska various toys, but Deniska refuses and then Mishka offers Deniska a firefly that glows in the dark.

Deniska agrees and now he doesn’t feel so sad waiting for his mother, because there is now a living creature next to him. And when mom returns, she asks Deniska why he did this, to which the boy answered her that the firefly is alive and glowing.

The main idea in this story is that loneliness and waiting are easier to survive when there is a living creature next to you, even if this creature is a firefly, but it is still “alive and glowing.”

The main character of the story, Deniska, sits in the yard and waits for his mother. evening comes. His friend Mishka comes up to him and sees Deniska’s dump truck. Mishka really likes the car and he offers Deniska to exchange it for something. Mishka offers stamps and a swimming ring, but Deniska refuses.

And suddenly Mishka takes out a box with a firefly. Deniska really likes the firefly and gives away a dump truck for it. Deniska sits and looks at the firefly.

Finally mom comes and they go home. Mom asks Deniska what he did with the dump truck, a gift from his dad, and the boy replies that he exchanged it for a firefly. And when mom asks why he did this, Deniska answers that the firefly is alive and glowing.

This story teaches us that the most beautiful things in the world are the creations of nature. Because the living will always be better than the artificial. That it is very important to have a loving heart.

A touching story about Denis, who waited for his mother in the yard for a long time and was very sad that she had been gone for a long time. And then his friend came, and Deniska exchanged his new expensive dump truck for a firefly in a box. And why he did this, you will find out by reading the story...
